PetroChina signs on to jointly develop Kitimat LNG project
Beijing. May 16. INTERFAX-CHINA - PetroChina Co.Ltd., the listed arm of China's largest oil and gas producer China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), has agreed to jointly develop a long awaited liquefied natural gas (LNG) project at the Kitimat deep-water port in British Columbia, Canada alongside Shell Canada Ltd., Korea Gas Corp. (KOGAS), and Japan's Mitsubishi Corp., PetroChina announced May 16.
