Consolidation on the cards for Chinese aluminum processors - SATA officials

Tang Zongping, vice secretary-general of the Shanghai Aluminum Trade Association (SATA), and Yuan Yongda, secretary-general of the SATA, recently gave Interfax a glimpse into China's aluminum processing sector and discussed what the future holds for domestic aluminum processors in the next few years.

The world's economic slowdown and China's stimulus plans will accelerate the pace of consolidation in the sector, with the most drastic changes expected to be seen from 2011 to 2015.
