China Unicom to commence iPhone sales on Oct. 15

Beijing. September 21. INTERFAX-CHINA - China United Network Communications Group Co. Ltd. (China Unicom) plans to release the iPhone 3G on Oct. 15 for the price of RMB 1999 ($292.70), and will require subscribers to sign a two-year service contract for RMB 186 ($27.23) per month, a China Unicom source told Interfax on Sept. 21.
