Minmetals' profit slumps 56 pct in 2009

Shanghai. February 5. INTERFAX-CHINA - China Minmetals Corp., the country's largest metals trader, generated a sales revenue and profit of RMB 173 billion ($25.34 million) and RMB 3.15 billion ($461.39 million) respectively in 2009, down 4.37 percent and 55.63 percent year-on-year, state media reported on Feb. 4.
