China Unicom denies Nitel bid

Shanghai. February 23. INTERFAX-CHINA - China United Network Communications Co. Ltd. (China Unicom) has denied that it submitted a bid to purchase a stake in Nigerian Telecommunications Ltd. (Nitel), according to a China Unicom statement on Feb. 23.
