Jinan Steel to take over Laiwu Steel

Shanghai. February 24. INTERFAX-CHINA - Shanghai Stock Exchange-listed Jinan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. (Jinan Steel), a subsidiary of Jinan Iron and Steel Group Co. Ltd., plans to acquire its sister company Laiwu Steel Co. Ltd. (Laiwu Steel) through a share swap, the companies announced on Feb. 24.
