Hebei Steel may take stake in special steel producer

Shanghai. March 4. INTERFAX-CHINA - Hebei Iron and Steel Group, a major Chinese steelmaker, is in talks to acquire an undisclosed stake in special steel producer Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. from its parent company Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed CITIC Pacific Ltd., state media reported on March 4.
