Aluminum smelters to resume full production in Sichuan

Shanghai. March 9. INTERFAX-CHINA - Sichuan Aostar Aluminum Co. Ltd. and Sichuan Meishan Aostar Aluminum Co. Ltd., two mid-sized aluminum smelters in Sichuan Province's Meishan City, will soon resume operations at full production capacity following significant cutbacks during the global economic downturn in late 2008 and throughout 2009, state media reported on March 9.
