ZTE net profit grows 12 pct y-o-y despite Indian import ban

Shanghai. August 20. INTERFAX-CHINA - Leading domestic telecom equipment provider ZTE Corp. saw its net profit rise 12 percent year-on-year to reach RMB 877 million ($129.18 million) in the first half of 2010 despite a ten-month Indian import ban on Chinese telecom equipment, ZTE announced on Aug. 19.
