Indian iron ore price up $0.50 in week ending Aug. 20

Shanghai. August 23. INTERFAX-CHINA - The average reference CIF (cost, insurance and freight) price for Indian iron ore grading 63.5 percent fluctuated between $156 per ton and $157 per ton between Aug. 16 and Aug. 20, up $0.50 when compared to the preceding pricing period, according to Aug. 23 data from the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals, and Chemicals Importers and Exporters.
