Hunan institute, XEMC establish rare earth JV

Shanghai. August 27. INTERFAX-CHINA - The Hunan Rare Earth Metal & Material Institute has established a 51:49 joint venture (JV) with Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Corporation Ltd. (XEMC) in a bid to consolidate Hunan Province's rare earth industry, state media reported Aug. 26.
