Tencent to acquire 49.9 pct stake in Thai Web portal

Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed Tencent Holdings Ltd., a leading domestic Internet company, has agreed to invest $10.5 million for a 49.92 percent stake in Mweb Holdings (Thailand) Ltd., operator of Thai Web portal Sanook.com.
