MOFCOM defends rare earth export restrictions

Shanghai. August 31. INTERFAX-CHINA - China’s restrictions on rare earth exports are intended to lower the negative impact of the industry on the environment, a senior official with the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said at the third China-Japan high-level economic dialogue.
