Andatee sees future in retail sales- An Fengbin, chairman and CEO of Andatee China Marine Fuel Services Corp.

Despite the fact that China's fuel market is largely dominated by state-owned oil giants like China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) and China Petrochemical Corp. (Sinopec Group), some private companies have managed to find opportunities in niche markets. In an interview with Interfax, An Fengbin, chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Andatee China Marine Fuel Services Corp., discusses his company's growth in China's marine fuel market.

"We believe that in addition to a wider distribution network, increasing retail sales and establishing closer ties with our end-users are at the core of our strength and business viability as we forge ahead," An said.

Since starting up Andatee China Marine Fuel Services Corp. in 2001, An Fengbin has seen his company become the leading private marine fuel supplier in northern China. The company currently holds around 25 percent of the marine fuel market in the Bohai Bay region.
