Dunhuang aims to rely entirely on renewable energy

Shanghai. April 13. INTERFAX-CHINA - Nearly 2,000 years ago, a monk had a vision of Buddha surrounded by sunlight near Dunhuang, a small town in northwestern China's Gansu Province. Today, Dunhuang has a new vision: to rely on renewable sources for power, primarily sunlight, to supply all its energy needs.
