China vows to reduce carbon emissions ahead of 2nd Global Climate Summit

Shanghai. November 24. INTERFAX-CHINA - China has come under criticism for failing to address climate change in a manner befitting its status as the world's second-largest economy. Ahead of the upcoming 2nd Global Climate Summit in Durban, South Africa, China's State Council unveiled a comprehensive plan Nov. 22 to advance the country's goal of reducing its carbon footprint.
