China's PPI surges 8.1 pct year-on-year in April

Shanghai. May 9. INTERFAX-CHINA - China's producer price index (PPI) surged 8.1 percent year-on-year in April this year, edging up from growth of 8 percent for the previous month, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) announced today.
