China nonferrous industry profits up 50 pct in 2011 - NDRC

Shanghai. January 20. INTERFAX-CHINA - China's nonferrous metals industry saw total profits surge 52.8 percent year-on-year in the first 11 months of 2011 to RMB 211.4 billion ($33.48 billion), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said Jan. 19 in its annual assessment of the sector.
