ASB bags $5.86 mln GSM deal from Tianjin Unicom, spam filter deal from Shanghai Mobile

Shanghai. July 14. INTERFAX-CHINA - Alcatel Shanghai Bell recently received a GSM network equipment contract worth RMB 40 million ($5.86 million) from China United Communications Corp.'s Tianjin Municipality subsidiary, as well as a deal from China Mobile Communications Corp.'s Shanghai Municipality subsidiary to provide a spam filter solution, a source from ASB said on July 14.
