Henan tightens CNG supply to save gas for public utilities

Shanghai. August 22. INTERFAX-CHINA - Northern China's Henan Province, which is in the midst of a severe gas shortage, has tightened control over the amount of compressed natural gas (CNG) used by gas stations and has restricted the number of cars modified to use CNG so as to guarantee sufficient supply for public utilities, the Henan Development & Reform Commission (HDRC) announced on Aug. 20.
